"Estate Grown" herbs and fruits and our commitment to high quality give VICARIO Liqueurs their own unique taste signature.
Directly behind our micro-distillery located in Greer, SC our small 6 acre farm is the perfect place for harvesting fresh herbs and getting them straight into the maceration process in less than an hour.
French Tarragon, for example, is cut, washed and under maceration in about 15 minutes due to the close proximity to our facility. This allows the highest concentration of volatile oils (those which give the liqueurs the most flavor) to go directly into the spirits, and gives VICARIO Dragoncello the most amazing French Tarragon flavor.
The same process is followed by cutting, washing and placing under spirit Estate Grown Lemon Verbena, which goes immediately under spirit to make VICARIO Herba Luisa Liqueur.
Cardoons and Artichokes are grown in Greer as well as in Italy, giving a unique flavor to our two world spirit of VICARIO Artichoke Liqueur.

Our farm in Italy is located near Cortona, in Tuscany. Ancient Olive Trees, Vineyards, and our treasured Cantiano Cherry Orchard patterns the land like a beautiful 25 acre quilt. Here we harvest Olive Leaves, Artichokes, and the very special crops of Mirto, and sour cherries for the most amazing liqueurs ever.
